This limited edition of Cabernet Franc is a barrel selection from our El Chaski vineyard, located in the Cafayate Valley, at 5,577 feet above sea level. This vineyard has a density of 5,000 plants per hectare. The soils are of alluvial origin, with high presence of boulder stones on the surface. To elaborate this wine, we used 1.5 kg of grapes per plant. It was fermented in concrete eggs and later aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. As a result, we find a wine with aromas of red fruits, intense color, and exhibiting persistent yet well balanced tannins.
