Tasting notes

• The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Crosby's Reserve is just about all Cabernet (there's 10% Merlot) and it reveals an opaque purple color to go with lots of ripe blue and black fruits, toasted spice, cedarwood, and candied violet notes. With medium to full-bodied richness, it has a firm, focused texture, good concentration, and plenty of length on the finish, where some chewy tannins come out. Give bottles a year or so, then drink through 2030.
