Domaine de Gouye is run by Philippe Desbos and is located just to the north of Tournon in the commune of Saint-Jean-de-Muzols. The 2016 Saint Joseph Vieilles Vignes comes from steep, south facing, granite soils and vines averaging 50 years in age. It’s a classically made Saint Joseph that’s not destemmed, foot crushed, and aged in older, neutral French oak barrels for 16 months.
